BUSH THE SOCIALCAPITALI$M AND GROUCHO MARX.
Bush and his Administration have achieved a very difficult record in his life : he almost ruined his family business ( Bin Laden’s family saved him ) (his credit only), he ruined a Football Club (again his credit), he organized the Iraq war, ruined thousands of families and now he has helped to ruin millions of people, these last two achievements with notorious helps from his Administration. How can anybody do that? Organize a team of ambicious mediocre burocrats, tell many lies in the name of God and manipulate the emocions of simple people anchored in the pre- steam engine era.
He has made 3 greats contributions, though : the social capitalism (people’s money saving the failures of the finantial system), the boomerang effect of Globalization on the States and the descredit of the democratic system: anybody, really anybody, can be President. One of Groucho Marx’s sentences would make sense in Bush’s lips : “ I do not want to be a nacional of a country electing a President like me”
The Great Casino approach of the American economy is sinking. But it will survive, no doubt about it. And the next ex- President of the USA will relax in his ranch. Perhaps he will invite ex – President Aznar and ex-Premier Tony Blair and with a beer, a hat and the smell of cowshit they will long for more glorious days and their wargames. God help us.
